D-Prize is awarding up to $20,000 to entrepreneurs who have developed witty inventions and novel distribution channels to combat poverty. D-Prize is committed to battling poverty and the systemic barriers that perpetuate poverty. Their philosophy notes that there have been many strides made toward ending poverty, but a distribution problem still remains. Their challenge is to entrepreneurs who can create inroads in wealth distribution channels and get help to the people that need it most, whether in the United States or abroad. Entrepreneurs are encouraged to develop solutions in one of several areas which include Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene, Girls' Education, Agriculture, Energy, Global Health, Education, and Governance and Infrastructure. The application process consists of developing a ten-page proposal and phone interviews. If you have the skill and know-how to truly make the world a better place for those in need, please apply now!
